Typically, Louisiana State University (LSU) requires applicants to evaluate their documents through a NACES agency (naces.org/members). We recommend ordering your documents through SpanTran, a NACES agency, and have partnered with them to offer Guild members a discount. Keep in mind that your evaluation requirements may vary depending on the level of education you are applying for at LSU. Please confirm requirements with LSU before paying for an evaluation or translation.

NOTE: Louisiana State University may require that you take an English Proficiency exam (TOEFL, IELTS, DuoLingo, etc.)

Step 1

Complete your Guild application

It may take up to 7-10 business days to see if you’ve been approved.

Step 2

Once approved, review next steps on schools.guildeducation.com and check your email. You will be assigned a LSU Enrollment Coach (EC) to walk you through the following admissions steps and requirements.

Step 3

LSU Online undergraduate programs require a course-by-course evaluation from a member of NACES (naces.org/members). If you are applying to a graduate program specifically, please connect with LSU before paying for a NACES evaluation.

We recommend ordering your documents through SpanTran, a NACES agency, and have partnered with them to offer Guild members a discount. Click here to apply for a credential evaluation through SpanTran. SpanTran offers translation services in addition to evaluation services.

Step 4

Complete LSU Online’s application. Be sure to choose the same learning program that you selected on the Guild application, or you risk having to pay for the program on your own. Then, connect with your LSU Online Enrollment Concierge to complete the process.
